Appraising your employees performance is one of your most important responsibilities
at the company and it will be one of your most difficult jobs. As you
will learn from this training guide, our appraisal program is a critical link in a series of
steps that move us toward our company goals and objectives.
You are expected to conduct appraisals on all persons reporting to you who have
successfully completed their introductory period of 90- days. No exceptions are made to
this policy and the quality of your efforts is a part of your supervisors appraisal of your
job performance.
You are responsible for ensuring all employees directly below you in the Companys
organization structure has an appraisal twice a year. You are also responsible for the
quality of those appraisals. If you feel supervisors below you need training in the proper
conduct of appraisals, you are responsible for providing them with that training.
