Inventory Goals

2.6 Goals for individual departments are established based upon the importance of the department with respect to total sales and gross profit and the perceived effect of not having an item on the customer. These goals are discussed with the Department Managers or Coordinators and individually established and agreed by department. For those departments where all of the items are in the Front, total inventory values need to be established based upon turnover and product demand.
