Profitabilty Analysis

1.2 A customer profitability analysis is necessary to ensure that the company is realizing its maximum profit potential by customer. The analysis will pinpoint problem routes so that management can make needed adjustments to outbound and backhaul acceptance criteria on a per customer basis. 1.3 The customer profitability analysis combines outbound customer loads with inbound broker loads to form a complete route or trip. In that way an evaluation can be made whether to accept a particular outbound shipment, on the basis of profitability of the total route or trip.
