1.0 POLICY STATEMENT It is our Company's policy to maintain a work place that is free from the effects of illegal drugs, narcotics, and alcohol abuse. XYZ Company requires all employees to perform their duties free from the effects of any substance abuse. 2.0 PRE-EMPLOYMENT EXAMINATION XYZ Company reserves the right to require all applicants to undergo a pre-employment test for the presence of drugs and/or alcohol prior to the commencement of employment. Prior to the completion of each employees probationary period, a second substance abuse test will be required, the consequence of a positive test result will be immediate termination.
