Employees may be eligible for unemployment benefits upon termination of service with the company, depending on the law and circumstances connected with your specific termination. After leaving company employment, the terminating employee can file an unemployment claim with the Provincial Unemployment Insurance Office, which will explain the rights, benefits, and eligibility determination process provided by law. This benefit is paid entirely by the company.
