Construction Manager 3

Authority and Responsibilities: 5.1.1 Support the effort to accomplish the duties, responsibilities, goals and objectives established for the Construction Company. 5.1.2 Monitor the performance of Company Employees and support the implementation of corrective action or recommend disciplinary action, as required. 5.1.3 Identify safety problems on job sites and institute corrective actions to eliminate any safety problems. Stop work when a problem cannot be resolved without risk of injury. 5.1.4 Aid the Field Superintendent in the initial activities to mobilize the job site. 5.1.5 Support scheduling for the start of work for each subcontractor and monitor subcontractor performance 5.1.6 .Restrict any subcontractor from working on a job who does not have proper insurance documents. 5.1.7 Identify quality problems in subcontractor work and direct the corrective action. 5.1.8 Recommend the removal of any subcontractor who is not performing effectively or to Company standards. 5.1.9 Approve or disapprove all construction methods used on jobs. 5.1.10 Assure completion of construction projects per the approved plans, specifications and governmental codes and regulations. 5.1.11 Insure completion of projects per the cost estimate and master construction schedule. 5.1.12 Assure the quality of all work performed and materials used on jobs. 5.1.13 Support the Field Superintendents efforts that sufficient, qualified workers are on site to perform work phases not subcontracted.
