Management By Results

MBR can be initiated by either the supervisor or subordinate. First a problem is identified. Then a variance is determined from the expected outcome (or result) understand the severity of the problem. By comparing the current result of the problem to what is expected, management can ensure that the actual problem is addressed. Therefore, the result from the problem and not the symptoms of the problem is addressed.
