TEACHING AN EMPLOYEE A NEW JOB 13.1 Describe the job and show confidence in the employee's ability to accomplish the tasks. 13.2 Find out about any subsequent experience that may help in learning the new job. 13.3 Run through the job in order and emphasize key points. 13.4 Let the employees do the job under supervision and give the employee responses. 13.5 Put the employee on his/her own. 13.6 Check back later and express confidence in the employee's ability to do the job.
