Controlling Used Inventory

The overall objective of the used vehicle plan is to maintain a used inventory of 45 days sales in stock. The age of the vehicles (number of days on the lot) is planned at 45 with a maximum of 60 days. The used vehicle inventory will be a combination of vehicles taken in trade and vehicles purchased at auction or program sales.
