Truck Driver Manual

This is your ABC Driver's Policy Manual. It defines your privileges and benefits as an driver/employee and company policy regarding what you are entitled to and what is expected of you during working hours, while on company property or company business. The intention of this manual is to provide a clear-cut operational procedure for all of us. I have never liked the words "management" and "employee" or "owner" and "worker" when used in an adversarial way. I have been in the trucking business for over 20 years. I've been where you are; I've done all the things you are doing . I know what it is like being "on the front line" and I have never been away from it. I work here and get a paycheck just like you do. That's why I say this manual is for all of us. With the help of people like you, ABC will continue to grow. We've been able to hire good people who are conscientious in their work and want to provide the best in customer service. This is what makes us the quality trucking company that we are. Each of us must have the dedication and determination to continue this.
