Employee appraisal procedure

This standard procedure outlines a performance appraisal program for ABC Company. The program applies only to employees who have successfully completed their probationary period. ABC will only succeed if all employees perform as expected. But what kind of performance is expected of them? How are they doing? Those are the questions answered by an effective job description (or task sheet) and a performance appraisal. Telling employees what is expected of them (via the job description) and giving them periodic feedback on performance to expectations (via the performance appraisal) is the only way to ensure that employees actually perform as expected.
